DL4LAMĀ“s station in Altenholz-Stift near Kie

I started my hamradio activity in a little village called Altenholz-Stift close to the city of Kiel.

Kiel is the capital of the state of Schleswig-Holstein and has about 240.000 inhabitants.
Kiel is famous for the university and a beautiful sailing area in Kiel-Schilksee. The "Kieler Woche" is an anual sailing competition (known wordlwide) in June.

My parents supported me in hamradio. Later my brother inheritited our house, so I can carry on to use the setup  there. Due to limited space in Europe our antenna farm is very small.

The QTH has the locator JO54BJ.

We own a 32 ftaluminum tower from Hummelmasten in the backyard. Since 1994 it has been a reliable partner.
